Nepali national football team left for Dhaka to play a friendly match with Bangladesh national football team on November 13 and 17. The friendly match will pave the way for the selection of the FIFA World Cup second round.
The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) had bid a farewell to the 34-member team at the Tribhuvan University International Airport on November 05, 2020.
The ANFA has selected eight new players for the 34-member team in place of regular national players who tested positive for COVID-19. In addition, national player Rohit Chand was also dropped from the team due to an injury.

This will be the first match for Nepal against Bangladesh after the SAF Championship in 2018. In the match, Nepal had won over Bangladesh.
