The Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has forecast Sudurpashchim Pradesh will experience heavy downpours while most of the country will experience cloudy weather for a while.
Falling in line with the forecast is the light to medium rains happening in Karnali, Lumbini, and Gandaki Provinces.
The MFD forecast these conditions after low-pressure weather systems formed in the Bay of Bengal and Central India region.
The low-pressure system is wafting towards the North direction as it is affected by the north and westerly winds. These winds are causing the rainfall in Nepal, stated MFD.
The weather will mostly be cloudy with light to moderate rains in Sudurpashchim, Karnali, Gandaki, and Lumbini. Pradesh 1, Pradesh 2, and Bagmati Pradesh may experience rainfall tonight.
